According to martin flower, agreement check is a test on the boundary of an outside service which verifies that it meets the settlement expected by means of a consuming provider.
Also, agreement testing does no longer check the behavior of the carrier intensive. Rather, it assessments that the inputs & outputs of carrier calls include required attributes and the reaction latency, throughput is inside allowed limits.
