Is blockchain security threatened by quantum computing?

I would like to know of dangerous is for blockchain ( bitcoin for instance) to be trheatened by quantum computers, considering that actually is very secure due to the difficulty in breaking SHA-256 algorithm , and is very hard to beat due to high computing power needed to achieve this, but quantum computer could do it?
