Arc Raiders, How to Beat Each ARC

Arc Raiders, How to Beat Each ARC

Arc Raiders may have terrifying enemies, but there are weaknesses in every ARC unit that can make them into scrap metal. ARC enemies behave in predictable ways, so recognizing these patterns can be a great help.

ARC Weaknesses Arc Raiders

It is important that all players understand the ARC’s weaknesses in Arc Raiders. It will save you a lot of stress and ammunition. According to buy arc raiders loot, white surfaces are areas that are not armored or soft. They take full damages from your weapons. Grey plating is thick reinforced armor which reduces damage except when you use armor-piercing weapons or armor-piercing cartridges.

These yellow components indicate the weak points of an ARC. These highlighted or glowing parts indicate the weak points of an ARC, and can result in massive damage. Weak areas are typically found at the core of enemies, their back side, and around joint connections. If you can hit these areas consistently, you will be able to destroy even heavily-armored ARCs quickly. In conclusion, based on the color of your weapon you will:

White areas: Total damage.

mmoset Grey areas: Reduced Damage

Yellow areas: Increased damages.

Arc Raiders ARC Strategies

Each ARC is different and has a specific behavior. This can be exploited for defeat. Understanding how and where to fight them can save you from a raid. It’s also profitable to kill them, because they drop vital parts for crafting or progression. If you are armed with a powerful gun, you will have an easier time defeating these machines. We offer a Weapon Farming services that can provide you with specialized guns. Here we’ve prepared a comprehensive list of every ARC enemy type you can expect to encounter in Arc Raiders.

You can also find a summary of the best ways to defeat each ARC with loot in this sheet:

Wasp

Wasps are used in nearly every ARC raid. These flying robots are often in groups led by Hornets. When they hear gunfire and other loud sounds, they will fly directly towards you. Even sprinting to close can make them investigate. Wasps have a fragile body. Their armor is thin. And their four thrusters make them vulnerable. They can be brought down with a few shots to the thrusters, or even a single rifle burst.

Hornet

The Hornet comes with a rapid fire machine gun which can shred shields in a matter of seconds. Because its front thrusters are armored, frontal assaults against it will not be very effective. Hornets’ back thrusters aren’t armored, so it is best to wait until they turn or flank them. If you are able to land shots on their back thrusters, you will disable them faster before they can attack.

Leaper

Leapers are four-legged, fast ARCs who use shockwaves in order to attack. They quickly close the gap, jumping across the covers and slamming into the ground to create an AoE. Wait until they have recovered from the jump attack and are starting to land. This will leave them more vulnerable.

If you aim your shot right after a jump, it can disrupt or delay them. Keep moving to avoid being cornered. You can also use the vertical terrain and dodge rolls when they charge.

Sentinel

Sentinels serve as stationary defense systems and guard loot areas of high value on the map. Often you will find one on a tower or rooftop, like the top of Pilgrim’s peak in the Blue Gate Region. As they have a wide range of vision, it is difficult to sneak up on them. Approach from cover. Then aim for their glowing yellow fuel tanks.

When you destroy it, an explosion occurs that is satisfying and results in a kill. Leaper Kill can help you farm Leaper materials without having to battle them.

Rocketeer

The Rocketeer is the most dangerous standard A.R.C. you’ll encounter. They’re less common but much more dangerous than Wasps or Hornets.

It is unlikely that regular weapons will work against this ARC. You’ll need powerful weapons or armor-piercing ammo. You should concentrate your fire on thrusters. Destroying them will often result in an explosion chain that will quickly kill the Rocketeer.

Pop

Pops drones are small and rolling. They patrol the interiors large buildings where loot is high. They can kill quickly if ignored. When they get close enough, they self destruct and do heavy damage. It’s a good thing they have a very low HP. This allows them to be eliminated in a couple of shots. To detect them, listen out for the loud rolling sound.

Tick

The tick is another small enemy. They are usually found attached to walls and ceilings in dark enclosed areas. These creatures tend to ambush unaware players in upper floors, such as Dam Control Tower. It is more surprising than durable that they are a threat. Only a few shots are needed to take them out. You can hear a slight mechanical whirring before they charge at you.

Turret

Turrets are automatic defensive units that can be found scattered around high-value loot on all maps. Turrets detect players only when they enter their scanning laser beam. It is easy to spot them, and they are quick to react once they have noticed you. Even though they are not very healthy, their damage will kill you in a matter of seconds. When there is a pause after each burst, you can pop out of cover to return fire.

Queen

The Queen, an endgame-boss that can only be defeated during Harvester events and on any map, is the final boss. Take her down will require a full raid team, plus other raiders. Heavy Ammo and armor are needed to defeat Queen.

Queen’s weakest points are the joints of her legs. They only become visible after the leg armour has been destroyed. Next, the top part of her head becomes her weak spot. Queen’s laser exposes it for a short time, then again a little later. To win, you must coordinate your attacks around these window, be constantly moving and use the right timing for your grenades.
